Robbie Williams hits the right note and starts Farrell fashion at a fair price

 The British singer is the youngest musician to make a foray into fashion with her new label Farrell.

Ben Dickens, former design director at Burberry, has teamed with Williams to create a label upscale men's fashion at an affordable price.

Named after his grandfather Williams, Jack Farrell, the collection features classic cuts that are built to last.

"If Robbie describes what his target with the brand, it was hit a nerve with me," said Dickens.

"What he wanted was to have his friends who are electricians and carpenters clothes, make back home. He wanted it to be as good as the things which he has access.

"It is the quality menswear with a style that everyone can afford."

The label, which launched last week to life and to David Jones, short sleeve polo shirts for $ 130, long-sleeved shirts for $ 180 and $ 225 pants saved.

Dickens believes that style will resonate with Aussie men.

"The starting point is a very British aesthetics, but because it is decorated in a classic style, it reflects the global level," he said.
