 Armani also dressed nominee Naomi Watts, who shimmered in a steel-grey gown, and Quvenzhane Wallace. The youngest Best Actress nominee in history accessorised her Armani Junior gown with a puppy-shaped handbag. Although she couldn't say who designed the bag, it elicited more smiles and coos than just about anything else on the red carpet.Sally Field, Kerry Washington and Jennifer Aniston brightened the red carpet in crimson gowns. Asked if she felt like a princess in her red Valentino gown, Aniston said, ‘In this thing, I do. I feel this is very The King and I.’ Razzle, dazzle and loads of couture—that’s what Oscars red carpets are made of. For 2013, that meant a bevy of pale, sparkly and red-carpet-red gowns by every A-list designer in the book.
